In our county Three federal parks are waiting for you to explore. Fort Donelson National Battlefield is the site of Grant's first major victory and a turning point of the war between the states. Land Between the Lakes is a haven for outdoorsmen. Hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and boating are only a few things you can to do. But, don't forget the buffalo and the 1850's farm.  Cross Creeks National Wildlife Refuge is a bird-watchers paradise open seasonally. you can check on special dates with their staff.
